Fred Gunther with Gunther Properties recently represented The Strategic Group (thestrategicgroup.com) in the purchase of approximately 6.44 acres in Rotonda West, FL, which is a planned community located in Charlotte county, Florida. Two applications submitted by Strategic were approved for funding by Florida Housing in RFA 2022-206 - HOME Financing To Be Used For Rental Developments In Certain Hurricane Ian Impacted Counties, which will result in one 32-unit multi-family development of senior housing called Sovereign at Parkside East and another 32-unit multi-family development of family housing called Sovereign at Harbor West, being built on these sites. The purchase price was $1,150,000.

Sigma is a subsidiary of Waggoner, a 50 year old civil engineering firm serving the Southeastern United States. There were challenges to overcome with the site due to topography and proximity to Carpenters Creek. Six month closing was taken into sales price consideration. The purchase price was $975,000.
